On the road to Mission Beach i was devastated to see the damage that the cyclone did. We stayed at the Hideaway Caravan. We had a site next to the pool and the playground which was good. We met some people called Mick and Suzie that we spent some time with. We drove to Tully and climed the Golden Gumboot. When i got to the top i was shocked how high it was. It had height marks on the side from all the floods. Then we drove around Tully. They had cyclone damage too. Then we went to see some other beaches in the area and then went back to the park.
