Jordan's Trip: Airlie Beach

The caravan park we stayed at was called Big4 Adventure Whitsundays. The park had a great big playground and a cold pool with 2 waterslides. We met some people from Leopold their names were Steve, Kaye, Amy and Casey. We played together alot on the jumping pillow and the playground. The waterslides were heaps of fun but the pool was a bit cold. We watched two outside movies at night on a big screen, they were Cars and Toy Story 3. The next day we went on a cruise to Daydream Island and Whitehaven Beach. We went passed Long Island, South Molle and Hamilton Island. When we got to Daydream Island we went to the day visitors area that had a playground and pools for us to use. Then we had a ride on a golf buggy back to the jetty and then we walked to the resort to have lunch. We also had a swim in the ocean and it was really warm. When we finished our lunch it was time to get back on the boat to go to Whitehaven Beach. At Whitehaven beach we had a swim and the water was clear, blue and really warm. We had to wear stinger suits that are like wetsuits so that we wouldn't get stung by jellyfish. The sand was really nice too. It is 99.8% pure white silica. It is supposed to be the whitest beach in the world. Then we hopped back on the boat and went back to Airlie Beach. We went out for tea that night with our friends from Leopold.
