Jordan's Trip: Broome

It has been a long time since we have seen the coast and it looked wonderful. We stayed at Cable Beach and we were only 5 minutes away from the beach. We have been going to the beach every day and we could drive our car onto the beach. It was very cool. We would stay on the beach to watch the sunset every day after our swim then drive back to the park. We spent lots of time playing with our friends from Melbourne. Their names are Jonathan, Meagan, Olivia and Ashley. We did a sunset camel ride along Cable Beach. There was 21 camels in our train and our camel was third last and his name was Wyn. It was supercalafragalisticexpialadosious. We went and saw the stair case to the moon. It is when the red reflects off the setting sun onto the rising moon. It then reflects off the mudflats at a certain time when the tide is low. It only happens a couple of times a month during the months of the dry season. It is one of only three places on the coast where you can see it in the whole country. It was very cool. We went to Willy Creek Pearl farm. It was amazing. Our tour guides name was Helen. She told us all about the pearling industry. We learnt how to harvest a pearl. I got to harvest a Keshi pearl. It was fun. They have five values for the pearls. Colour, size, shape, complection, and lustre and this determines the price. We walked around Chinatown to learn some history about the Japanese pearl divers and watched some planes fly over the main street. Then we went and watched some fireworks down on the beach. It was the last day of their festival. They were awesome.
