On first day we did Jarvis Hill lookout. It was a very steep dirt track then a rocky path up to the lookout. Then onto the Yourambulla Caves. We had to go up some steep ladders. There was some rock art there but i didn't like it as much as the art in Northern Territory. When we got back to the park some other people had arrived and it turned out that they had been next to us when we stayed at Treasure Island on the Gold Coast. It was pretty amazing. It is such a small world. The next day we drove to the Wilpena Pound Resort. We went to the info centre and paid for our shuttle bus to take us to the start of our walk. The walk took us past an old homestead then up a steep mountain called St Mary Peek. When we got down it started to pour rain and there were lots of thunder storms. The caravan park lost power.
