Geraldton

When we were checking in we saw this ute run into the cable gate.  We had a drive around the town because we got in early.  We went to the foreshore playground.  It was awesome.  Next we drove to the mariner.  We saw some racing yachts.  They were having a stop over from the round the world yacht race.  After that we went to the W.A museum.  We did some kids activity sheets.  Mine was pretty challenging but we got a prize at the end.  I got some spokey dokeys for my bike wheels.  They look cool.  We went to the H.M.A.S Sydney memorial.  We were given a tour of the memorial and told all about the Sydney and what happened to it.  The next day we went back to the mariner to see all the yachts leave their berths.  They played a theme song for each yacht as it left.  The song i liked was hello and i love New York.  We then went for morning tea and waited for the boats to come back and do their line parade in front of us.  Then we watched the start of the race.  After that we went to the park for a play.

The H.M.A.S Memorial.

The dome is made up of 645 seagulls to represent all the people that died.
